Brandon & Heather Young - Papua, New Guinea

Bart & Emily

Few countries can match the cultural diversity of Papua New Guinea, whose 7 million people speak more than 800 languages, and live mostly in rural, indigenous communities.

Serving as missionaries with Ethnos360. Along with their four children (Brendan, Griffin, Charlotte-Amelie, and Felicity), Brandon and Heather are en route to Papua New Guinea where they will work toward church planting among a people group that is currently without the written Word of God in their language or a clear Gospel message. For the past 8 years they have served at New Tribes Bible Institute (now known as Ethnos360 Bible Institute) in Jackson, MI. Brandon worked in a discipleship ministry through the Student Life Department and also taught some Bible classes while Heather served as the Child Care Coordinator for our married students with kids so that the moms could attend classes. A little over a year ago the Lord began to redirect them from raising up future missionaries toward heading to "the front lines" and pursuing a church planting ministry. They have completed the necessary training and are hoping to head to PNG in January 2019.
